For our next stop, we head to St Anne’s Church, Shandon. One of the most famous churches in Cork, the St. Anne’s Church houses the famous Bells of Shandon. See the “four-faced liar”, otherwise known as The Clock Tower, which shows slightly different times on each of its four faces.

A short stroll around the corner is Shandon Sweets. Established in 1928, this is the place where sweets are made the old-fashioned way by father and son. Take a moment to enjoy a clove rock or humbug, crafted completely by hand using pure ingredients.

Travelling through the old heart of Cork city, a visit to the Vision Centre at St. Peter’s is available, or opt to see the recently restored Elizabeth Fort, said to be one of the finest examples of a 17th-century star-shaped fort.

Get to know the true flavour of Cork at the English Market, a must-have stop to enjoy and indulge on Irish produce from fish to sausages, Irish spiced beef and artisan bread. Just across the South Gate bridge is St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, a dazzling three-spire church located in the city.

Heading into Kinsale, stop at the Charles Fort which offers stunning videos of the surrounding area. Kinsale itself has picturesque rows of colourful shops and cafes, which are perfect for perusing in the afternoon.

The Cork Highlight Tour concludes with one final stop at St. Coleman’s Cathedral in Cobh, which commands spectacular views across the harbour.
