We can’t thank you enough for Martin and Gerry, both trips were amazing!! We we able to see Connemara, Mayo, the Belleek Factory in Northern Ireland and were brought safely back to Dublin.
I had an objective of tracing our family roots in Mayo where we were pleasantly surprised to meet new cousins we had never known. Gerry was amazing at this, supportive of the effort and very flexible when plans had to be adjusted.
Martin was also great, enjoyed talking GAA sports which is nearly impossible to do in the US. Both Gerry and Martin engaged in Cupla Focail so I could practice As Gaeilge, which was wonderful. Gerry specifically was open to any topic, wonderful conversation on what was a long rainy day, greatly appreciated.
I was a little nervous to be overseas with four kids (12,10,8,6), but Gerry and Martin were great with them which was a huge help.
