Jim not only got us to where we wanted to go but he took us to the hall of records and then on a lovely tour. I got an email today letting me know that Jim had taken the information I left on a notepad and went back to the church office (I hadn’t found it) to see if he could get the records for us. Way beyond what I would expect any company to do!

If I could give this company, Bob, its (or one of its) owner(s), and John Mc Grane, our driver, 10 stars, I would. From the minute I contacted this company through the time we were dropped off back at our hotel, everything was wonderful. Great communication from both Bob and John, a sincere interest in describing to us all of the options we had for the full day tour we wanted that would also include Kilkenny Castle, to picking us up and first taking us to a somewhat out of the way location we wanted to go to before starting our “official” tour, all was done with a smile and good humor. And our day tour was just fantastic. John was a joy to listen to and talk with and he kept my two (22 year old) daughters engaged and having fun the entire day. His knowledge of the area was tremendous (he grew up there). I would use this company again and again and strongly recommend them to anyone visiting Ireland (which we loved!). Beyond my recommendation, one other positive thing to note about this company is (and I think this is correct), Bob has been in the taxi/driving business as a driver (and possibly tour guide) for many years and I believe most or all of his drivers are people with whom he has known for many years (and many of whom also know each other) – as such the business seems to be more of a family of people all motivated to provide excellent service. And they do!

When we began looking at transportation in Ireland we were put in touch with Ireland Taxi, we are SO glad we were ! Bob was available day and night to assist with planning and even corrected my wrong date with ease and a smile. Our drivers were Mick, Seamus and David. Each and every one of them were pleasant and knowledgeable about Ireland North and South. It was a pleasure to travel with them. THANK YOU for making our Ireland vacation one for the memory books ! On time (often early), kind, interesting and friendly, the drivers (Colin, Barry, Terry & Mike) were each excellent. Bob was a very good communicator making the process incredibly easy and enjoyable. Patrick in Cork and Jack in Bantry were wonderful. Both locations were exactly what we wanted. They were so knowledgeable and great drivers with a sense of hummer.. Because of weather the ship cancelled Galway. Robert was a delight and so easy to get everything set up. I was glad for the opportunity to meet him even though it was brief. Our driver was flexible. We viewed our sites at our leisure. He was informative, with a great sense of humor. The drive was amazing with moments of great scenic beauty which he was willing to slow or stop for photos. I would highly recommend this company for small group tours.
